Tom Dyer realised that bar pourers could sometimes be a little hit and miss, finding a pourer he could trust and rely on was difficult. He teamed up with one of the world’s leading manufacturers of bar equipment and they got to work. Starting with a model that Dyer had been trialling at his bartending school, offering his expert opinion , he advised of a few improvements that could be made. The first thing was the inconsistent pouring patterns and speed; this was overcome by calibrating the spout on each and every pourer, allowing extremely accurate and consistent free pouring or waste free use of jiggers .Thus creating the perfect tool for professional bartenders . The new rubber cork allows greater flex without compromising on durability, the pourer now fits a wider variety of bottle necks without dripping or spilling.
